This is a high end point and shoot camera, ideal for people who really want to get more out of their photography. The image quality is excellent, with a 18.1-megapixel High Sensitivity CMOS sensor – which means you can make large, high quality prints of your photographs.
The camera comes with 30x optical zoom, which is amazing for such a small camera. That is equivalent to 24-720mm on a 35mm camera. If zoom is important to you, then this is absolutely the camera you should buy. The lens speed is f3.3-6.4 which is fairly normal, but not spectacular for low light usage.
For macro photography, you can focus down to 3cm, which is pretty great! Explore photographing the tiny world of bugs, flowers, or anything else with lots of tiny detail.
The inclusion of a live-view viewfinder is pretty unusual for a camera this size and it means that you don’t have to worry about not being able to see the rear viewfinder in harsh light. Also some people may prefer using a eye-level viewfinder.
The video features are also excellent, you can shoot in HD video and also shoot at up to 120fps slow motion!
This is a high end point and shoot camera, ideal for the hobbyist that wants a bit more from their camera – especially if zoom is high up your list of requirements.
